The leadership of National Association Of Polytechnic Students  (NAPS), Under the leadership of Activist Sunday A. Asuku the national president lead a National protest today Friday 10/01/2020, to the NBTE  headquarter in Kaduna over the Dichotomy between Hnd/Bsc graduates, the National President in is keynote Address stated it categorically and emphatically that his leadership will not be timid on the issue of Dichotomy, citing Example of the just concluded promotion examination exercise organized by the ministry of Education for all teachers and civil servernt under the ministry migrating from level 14 to 15 and above were Hnd holders was denied the Previledge  to write the examination, it so unfortunate that the Ministry of Education hide under the flimsy excuse of yet to received the circular of Implementation from Head of Service.

The National President of NAPS charged the NBTE executive Secretary Alh Masud Kazaure to look into the yearning  of polytechnic students and graduates with immidiate effect regarding Hnd/Bsc Discripancy, he concluded by submitting a position letter to the Head of Service through the Executive Secretary of NBTE, where serious appeal was made to the head of srvice to the head of service to release the  Implementation circular  to all MDAs or face the wrath of Polytechnic students.

 The Executive secretary while reacting to the issues raised  by the National President of NAPS appreciate the Leadership of NAPS for pressing home there demands in a peaceful and orderly manner and promised to be in Abuja on Monday to discuss with the Minister of Education and Head of Service respectively on the Issue at hand in order to find a lasting solution to the  burning issue.

He also advice Polytechnic students to ensure they have every necessary skills needed in there field of learning as Polytechnic sole aim is to produce graduates that are pratically oriented in order to meet up with the technological challenges face by the country.
